The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, is offering short courses aimed at strengthening specialized skills in Health Systems and Services Management. The courses are open to Primary Healthcare Professionals working at the community, sub-district, district, municipal, or metropolitan levels in Ghana. They are also available to Primary Healthcare Professionals from countries with Africa Health Collaborative partner institutions, ensuring broader regional access to this professional development opportunity.
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the scholarship:
- Applicants must be a Primary Healthcare Professional at the Community, sub-District, District, Municipal or Metropolitan level in Ghana.
- Applicants must be a Primary Healthcare Professional at the Community, District, Municipal, Metropolitan or its equivalent from countries of affiliated institutions of the Africa Health Collaborative.
- Female Applicants are encouraged to apply.

- 10th – 14th February 2026: Community Emergency Care
- 24th – 27th February 2026: Palliative Care Module 1
- 23rd – 27th March 2026: Introduction to Healthcare Quality Improvement (IQI)
- 24th – 27th March 2026: Pre-hospital Emergency Care
- 13th -22nd April 2026: Strategic Leadership for Health Systems Transformation in Developing Countries
- 20th – 22nd April 2026: Palliative Care Module 2
- 25th – 29th May 2026: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Application at Primary Health Care (PHC) Level
- 25th – 29th May 2026: Healthcare Industry and Regulatory Affairs (HIRA)
- 26th – 29th May 2026: Primary Health Care Financing (PHCF)
- 26th – 29th May 2026: Practical application of Quality Improvement (PQI) tools
